Day 1:
Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu
Your adventure begins in Arusha. After breakfast, you will drive for about 3 hours to Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for having the highest number of elephants in Tanzania, along with ancient baobab trees.
Enjoy a game drive and picnic lunch inside the park, where you may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, and many birds. In the late afternoon, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at The Plantation Lodge.

Karatu – Serengeti National Park (Central)
After breakfast, your journey continues through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Serengeti National Park. The drive takes around 4 hours.
You will enter Serengeti Central (Seronera), known for year-round game viewing and the Great Migration route. This area is rich with wildlife like lions, elephants, leopards, and cheetahs. Enjoy a thrilling game drive before checking into Serengeti Sound of Silence Tented Camp.

Day 4:
Serengeti Central to Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
After breakfast, you will leave Serengeti and head to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The drive takes around 3 hours.
Descend into the crater for a 6-hour game drive. This is one of the best places in Tanzania to spot the Big Five. Enjoy lunch at the hippo pool and admire the crater’s unique ecosystem.
Later in the afternoon, drive back to The Plantation Lodge in Karatu for a relaxing evening.

Day 5:
Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive to Arusha for flight to Zanzibar
On your final day, enjoy breakfast and take another short game drive in Ngorongoro. Later, you will drive back to Arusha (about 3 hours) and catch a flight to Zanzibar.
Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel. This marks the end of your 5 Days Midrange Safari to Zanzibar.
