Tanzania Safari Experiences

Luxury Tanzania Safari
Experiences

Tanzania is the finest country in all Safari Africa! The quality of its national parks and game reserves is simply sky high. This is Great Migration land, choc-a-bloc with wildlife. Book a trip to the Serengeti with Seko Tours and you can be certain of being as close to the action as possible – and no more so, than if you opt to stay in the area’s mobile camps! And keen photographers will snap up the opportunity to take a special safari with famous wildlife photographer Will Burrard-Lucas. This experience is available from late October to mid-December, when the Great Migration is at its busiest and best!

The southern part of Tanzania too, specifically Ruaha National Park and Nyerere National Park, is worth visiting too. A stay in Ruaha is a truly wild experience and the guiding is first rate. And Nyerere is the perfect place to go if you are a keen boater, as this reserve is a hot contender for providing the best boating safaris in all Africa! Nyerere combines beautifully with Ruaha or any other savanna region of Tanzania – just contact us for more details!

What to wear on an African safari?

There are no strict dress codes for an African safari. Generally, we recommend wearing khaki or light-grey-colored shorts or pants, paired with a T-shirt or shirt. A fleece jacket is advisable for cooler evenings and mornings. Footwear should include closed shoes with sturdy soles for savannah adventures, and comfortable options for relaxing at the lodge. Additionally, remember to pack sunglasses and a hat for sun protection.

In terms of colors, it’s best to avoid white, which shows dust easily, and blue, which attracts insects. Camouflage patterns should also be avoided, as they are reserved for the military in many African countries.

What are our Tanzania Safari Experiences?

Answering this question is not simple because there are many activities to choose from (see below for some options). We work with lodges and camps that share our conservation values. Our goal is to combine conservation, eco-friendly travel, and community involvement by offering unique and meaningful experiences that connect you directly with local people. These activities help guests learn about Tanzanian culture and allow communities to earn money and plan for their future.

You will get to deeply experience the rich Tanzanian culture, which most people don’t get to see, while also making a positive impact. We want you to truly feel and experience authentic Tanzania and do good while enjoying yourself.
