Day 1:

On the first day of your 4-day Tanzania budget safari, the estimated travel times are as follows:
- Flight from Arusha Airport to Seronera Airstrip (Serengeti): 1 hour 30 minutes
- Game drive in Serengeti (including stops for lunch and wildlife viewing): 5 to 6 hours
- Transfer to Tukaone Serengeti Camp: 30 minutes to 1 hour (depending on wildlife sightings and road conditions)

Day 2:
Full Day Serengeti Central Experience
On the second day of your 4-day Tanzania budget safari, you will wake up early to the sounds of nature and enjoy a hearty breakfast at Tukaone Serengeti Camp. After breakfast, you will embark on a full-day game drive in the vast Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife reserves. This day is all about exploring the endless plains and searching for the park’s incredible wildlife.
Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to spot the Big Cats (lions, leopards, and cheetahs) as they hunt, as well as herds of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and antelopes roaming freely. If you’re lucky, you might witness part of the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the world’s most spectacular natural events. You will stop for a picnic lunch in the middle of the Serengeti, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and wildlife.
In the afternoon, the adventure continues with more wildlife viewing as you explore different areas of the Serengeti. For those interested, an optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged for a once-in-a-lifetime experience of viewing the Serengeti from above (at an additional cost).
As the sun sets, you will return to Tukaone Serengeti Camp, where you can relax, enjoy a delicious dinner, and share stories of the day’s sightings. After an eventful day in the wild, you will rest for the night, preparing for the next day’s journey to Ngorongoro Crater.

Explore the vast plains while spotting wildlife such as elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and zebras. Stop for a picnic lunch in the wild, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. The afternoon game drive continues, offering more chances to witness the Serengeti’s incredible wildlife. For an unforgettable experience, an optional hot air balloon safari is available at sunrise (extra cost). As the sun sets, return to Tukaone Serengeti Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3:
Serengeti Central to Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
On Day 3, after an early breakfast at Tukaone Serengeti Camp, you will depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area with an en-route game drive through Serengeti. Upon arrival, you will descend into Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich areas, for an exciting game drive. The crater is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo), along with hippos, zebras, and countless bird species. At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, taking in the stunning views of this natural wonder. After more wildlife viewing in the afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and drive to Karatu, where you will check in at Eileen’s Trees Inn for dinner and an overnight stay

You will explore the park’s scenic landscapes while spotting animals along the Tarangire River, a key water source attracting wildlife. At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, surrounded by nature. After the game drive, you will return to Arusha, marking the end of an unforgettable 4-day Tanzania safari adventure.
