Tanzania Safari Cost Breakdown – 3-Day Private Safari Itinerary

At Seko Tours, we believe in offering clear and honest pricing so you can plan your dream Tanzania safari with confidence. Based on years of experience organizing safaris across the country, here’s a realistic cost breakdown for a 3-day private safari itinerary.

✅ Total Cost:

  • For 4 people: $758 per person (full board)

  • For 2 people: $2,066 per person (full board)

These prices include everything you need for a seamless safari: a private 4×4 safari vehicle, professional English-speaking driver/guide, all park fees, full board accommodation (3 meals per day), and unlimited game drives during the park hours.

Why This Safari Costs What It Does

Tanzania has some of the most breathtaking national parks in Africa—but it also has some of the highest park fees. For example, a single day in Ngorongoro Crater for two adults, including the vehicle, currently costs $723.34 (including 18% VAT). That’s just one day of park entry, separate from your accommodation or vehicle expenses.

In addition, a private safari vehicle with a trained guide costs approximately $350 per day, regardless of how many people are in your group. So with more people sharing the trip, the cost per person becomes more affordable.

Accommodation standards also play a key role. For this itinerary, we use well-vetted lodges and tented camps offering comfort, safety, and great locations inside or near the parks. All meals are included, and we make sure every detail is taken care of so you can focus on the experience.

A Note from the Ground

Shorter safaris like this one (3 days) tend to have higher average daily costs compared to longer safaris, simply because every day is packed with park entry and wildlife activity—there are no “rest days” or low-cost travel days. But what you get is pure adventure from start to finish.

Our 3-day safari is designed to maximize your time in the bush and deliver a deep, authentic wildlife experience, all while staying in comfort and traveling with experts who know Tanzania inside out.

If you’re ready to plan your safari, Seko Tours is here to help you every step of the way — from the first quote to your final game drive.
