Day to day Best of Tanzania Safari Itinerary
Day 1:
Flight from Zanzibar to Arusha
Your journey starts with a short flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, where you’ll visit Africa Amini Life Maasai Lodge. This special place lets you experience real Maasai culture while still enjoying comfort. You’ll explore a Maasai museum, take a village tour, and enjoy a delicious traditional lunch with fresh meat and vegetables.
In the afternoon, join a nature walk to learn about Maasai herbal medicine and try spear-throwing like a true warrior. As the sun sets, enjoy Maasai singing and dancing, a beautiful way to end the day. At night, relax in your Maasai-style hut, where you can take a hot shower and fall asleep to the peaceful sounds of nature.

After breakfast, we drive to Arusha National Park, just 40 minutes away. This park is small but very rich in wildlife and scenery. Here you can expect to see:
Giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and warthogs
Black-and-white colobus monkeys
Many birds like flamingos and hornbills
Beautiful views of Mount Meru
Unlike big parks like Serengeti, Arusha National Park is quiet and peaceful. It’s perfect for a short, relaxing safari. The best part? You can even go canoeing on Momella Lake, surrounded by hippos and birds!
Midday – Picnic Lunch Inside the Park
Enjoy a tasty picnic lunch while surrounded by nature. Your guide will set up everything in a safe and scenic spot.
Afternoon – Drive Back to Arusha & Flight to Zanzibar
After your exciting safari, we’ll head back to Arusha airport for your afternoon flight to Zanzibar. You’ll return just in time for dinner at your beach hotel, full of memories and photos from your short but amazing adventure.
