Your adventure begins in Arusha, Tanzania’s safari hub, where your driver-guide will pick you up for a scenic transfer to Tarangire National Park. The Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most animal-dense areas, offers an incredible safari experience. Visitors can enjoy game drives in a 4×4 Land Cruiser, spotting herbivores like zebras, elephants, and the rare black rhino. Carnivores such as lions and cheetahs are also commonly seen, while birdwatchers can spot species like flamingos and black kites.
Day 3:
Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive to Arusha
Following your breakfast, embark on a thrilling adventure by descending to the Ngorongoro Crater, renowned for its abundance of wildlife, including the famous Big 5. Enjoy a game drive within the crater and take in the stunning scenery while looking out for the various animal species that call the crater home. During your excursion, take a break and savor a delightful picnic lunch at the well-known hippo pool, before continuing your journey to Arusha, where you will spend the night.
- Note: Ngorongoro Crater is a stunning volcanic caldera in Tanzania, known for its breathtaking scenery and rich wildlife. It is home to the Big Five, flamingos, and many other animals, making it one of Africa’s best safari destinations. This UNESCO World Heritage Site also offers cultural encounters with the Maasai people.. In the evening, we will drive back to Arusha or the airport.
