This 3-day safari in Tanzania starts and ends in Arusha town, which is the main place for all safaris in Northern Tanzania. The tour is good for all ages because the parks are close to each other.
The safari starts and ends in Arusha and includes visits to Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, and Lake Manyara National Park.
First, you’ll visit Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and big baobab trees. You’ll stay in a nice tented camp near the park with great views or in a cheaper lodge in Karatu after the game drives in Tarangire.

Day to day Best of Tanzania Safari Itinerary
Day 1:
Arusha to Lake Manyara
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport / Arusha Airport (morning Arrivals)
After breakfast at 7:00, depart for Mto wa mbu village for a 2-hour walking tour. The journey involves a pleasant 2-hour drive on a nice road. Upon reaching the village, the walking tour takes approximately 2 hours, followed by a local lunch prepared by locals. At 14:00, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a game viewing experience. The park is adorned with a mix of forest and open woodland of acacia, serving as a bird park and home to various primate species. Additionally, you may encounter Buffalos, Warthogs, Bushbucks, and Impalas. At 18:30, exit the park and return to the camp for an overnight stay at Elliens Tree Lodge.

Day 2:
Karatu – ngorongoro crater
6:00 am wake up and take breakfast, then load all our staff in the jeep and departure to Ngorongoro crater 2 hours’ drive. Game drive in the crater with picnic lunch, The 7 natural wonder and unflooded crater you have chance to spot black rhino and flamingos in lake Makat, About 25 thousands animals found in the crater.114:00 pm ascent and drive to Serengeti national park.

Day 3:
Ngorongoro Crater
At 7:00 AM, our guide will meet you and provide a 20-minute briefing about the trip. Afterward, we will drive to Tarangire National Park, a journey of 2 to 2.5 hours covering a distance of 110 km on a nice road followed by 7 km on a rough road. We will make a stop at the entrance for formalities before continuing to the public campsite where our chef and all staff will be dropped off. Then, we proceed for a game drive around Tarangire River with a picnic lunch.
