Day to day Best of Tanzania Safari Itinerary

Day 1:

Tarangire National Park

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport / Arusha Airport (morning Arrivals)

Karibu Tanzania “Welcome to Tanzania”. When you arrive at the airport, your guide will meet you and tell you about your adventure.

We will go to Tarangire National Park for a game drive with a packed lunch. Tarangire is the 6th largest park in Tanzania, covering 2,600 square kilometers. It is famous for its large elephant herds and the mini-wildlife migration during the dry season, with about 250,000 animals entering the park. After the game drive, we will go to the camp to relax, enjoy the sunset, and share stories about the day’s adventure while looking over the Tarangire River and Acacia woodlands.

Day 2:

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will visit the highlands to see the Iraq tribe’s farms. On the way to Serengeti National Park, we’ll pass the Ngorongoro Crater and reach Serengeti by midday.

Serengeti is famous for the Great Migration and its wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and many birds. Explore the plains, spot animals, or enjoy a sunrise hot air balloon safari.

In the evening, we’ll relax at camp, enjoy the sunset, and share stories of the day while overlooking the Serengeti plains.

In addition, bird lovers will be interested in Tarangire because there are more than 550 species of birds here! We have good resolution binoculars in our car so you can see them even better.

Day 3:

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we shall proceed into the rich open grasslands of the Serengeti for the full day game drive with picnic lunchbox, after an extensive game drive, return to your camp for sundowners and to enjoy the views over the Serengeti plains while recounting tales of the day’s adventure.

Day 4:

Ngorongoro Crater

After early breakfast at the camp, we depart for a morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunchbox, as very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and various species of birds.
