This lodge is located in the crater highlands in the town of Karatu and is run by Tanzanians who will be delighted to tell you all about their country. What’s more, you’ll love their cuisine.

In the heart of magnificent tropical gardens, you’ll find a bar, a small lounge area and a dining room in a rustic wooden building reminiscent of a tree house.
The lodge has 20 en-suite rooms, including singles, doubles, triples and families. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with views over the lush gardens. Each room has twin beds or a queen-size bed with mosquito netting.

Just 0.7 miles from Sumawe Complex in Karatu, this place has hut-like rooms on stilts. The rooms are big and have their own bathrooms. There’s an outdoor pool and a restaurant. The area around has lots of green trees. Located just on the edge of Karatu town, simplicity and service are the hallmarks of this lodge set in beautiful gardens around a lovely pool.
