From June to mid-November, Ubuntu Camp is set in the northern Serengeti on the Lamai Wedge, a less crowded area ideal for photographers capturing dramatic river crossings. From mid-December to mid-March, the camp moves to Kusini in the southern Serengeti, perched on a hillside overlooking the vast, wildebeest-filled plains. This spot offers great access to the migrating herds and excellent opportunities for spotting big cats, especially as they hunt newborn prey. No matter the season, Ubuntu Camp’s locations are carefully chosen to ensure guests have an exclusive experience and excellent wildlife viewing.
